Project introduction
Superdrug Mobile is currently providing its customers with an easy to set up and contractless mobile network as an MNVO for 3G.
A marketing website with a blog and user portal
We loved working with Idean UK on this project as it presented the use of migrating their existing Ruby-on-Rails static site rendered website to a new GatsbyJS website.
Our involvement
For background, their marketing pages were served by a white-labelled Ruby-on-Rails project with the blog served with an old Gatsby JS implementation, and their user portal being a typical ReactJS web app.
We consulted on the best way to combine their 3 website site into one, easy to scale website whilst maintaining their current functionality. The result is a modern GatstbyJS website to host the whole project, using client-side routing for the user portal.
We also supported and built out their new user signup flow to improve SIM registration conversion, and supported the migration of their cookie management solution to a newer GDPR compliant solution provided by OneTrust.
The result is a blazing fast and robust user-facing website with frictionless user experience.
